Food Glorious Food...

Whenevr Mike's family gets together you can guarantee three thinks, you will get made fun of there will be food and there will be stories and jokes about food. Jokes and food, both vitally important to the Blackmore family culture. Sunday night my neice was sharing some of her favorite memories. Both had to do with her eating with one of her parents. I laughed because this just seems to be a trend with the family. Some of the all time favorite stories are the time when Jodi ate the anus of a turkey or turkey butt-whole. The time when Don being a smart aleck told his mom he wanted 5 (or anywhere between 5-13 depending on who is telling the story) hot dogs and his mom made them and made him eat them all. Making milkshakes after Mike went to bed and there is always a plethera of Jokes about the ten second rule. Well this all got me thinking about some of my favorite food related memories.
The time Joanna through a bowl of cereal at me in the morning before school. The bowl landed right on top my head and cereal and milk went everywhere runniong my mascarra down my face as well. Not so funny at the time but hillarious now. The time Minn flipped mashed potatioes at me. Right smack dap in my forehead. She was and is still so proud. I think that is what is funniest to me. Escargo Marshmallows. Need I say more. Hmm, these all have a theme of cruelty to them. I also have to mention the first time I tried to make Mike breakfast in bed and ended up waking him to the smoke detector because I had lit a rag on fire. Ah... Good times.
